The Saas Valley is a paradise for skiers and snowboarders. With a total of 150 kilometres of blue, red and black pistes, you will experience unique skiing pleasure. Always surrounded by 18 majestic four-thousand-metre peaks.

In Saas-Fee, you can start the 6-kilometre-long route from the Hannigbahn mountain station and sledge over the so-called Sonnenberg to the glacier village.

In Saas-Grund, a fabulous 11-kilometre toboggan run awaits you from Kreuzboden to the village, while you enjoy a spectacular view of the Mischabel range and the Mattmark region.

The Saas-Almagell toboggan run takes you over 3 kilometres from Furggstalden to the village. At all three destinations you can rent sledges directly from the mountain railways.

Experience perfectly groomed cross-country ski trails that wind through snow-covered larch forests and lead along the Vispa river, which has frozen into ice. In the Saas-Fee/Saas Valley holiday region, cross-country skiers' hearts not only beat longer, but also higher.

The cross-country trails in the Saas Valley are open for you from mid-December to the end of March (depending on temperatures and snow conditions).

In the Saas-Fee/Saas Valley holiday region there are no less than four ice rinks at your disposal - one in each of the four villages. Whether you prefer ice skating, playing ice hockey, curling or curling, you are spoilt for choice here. There is something for every age and every taste!

An unforgettable tour over the Fee Glacier awaits you. And it leaves no one cold! The trail leads from the Längfluh mountain station through untouched powder snow to the Panoramaplatz. Here you continue, equipped with snowshoes, ski poles and climbing harness, past majestic ice jags and deep crevasses down to the Spielboden station. During the ascent you will be accompanied by an experienced mountain guide who will bring you safely to your destination.

In summer you can walk the tour with crampons - even then the tour is an impressive experience!

The entire tour takes about 4-5 hours and is guaranteed to stay in your memory for a long time.

If you think climbing is only a summer activity, you're wrong. The winter via ferrata in Saas-Grund offers a unique tour even in the cold season. The entrance is right at the edge of the village and then it's a brisk climb to the top. The approximately 150 metres in altitude are easily manageable with a little fitness and a head for heights. A mountain guide accompanies the tour and a breathtaking abseiling experience awaits the participants at the end. The entire tour takes about two hours.
